This is a genuine opportunity to help shape how Central Goldfields Shire Council delivers services to its community. As Project Officer, you'll play a hands-on role in a major digital and business improvement initiative, helping to modernise systems, streamline processes and improve outcomes for residents, businesses and Council staff alike. Your work will directly support better planning, communication and service delivery across the organisation — giving you the chance to leave a lasting, practical mark on how Council operates.

Our ideal candidate

The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented and reliable, with a good attitude and a willingness to learn. They can manage a few tasks at once and communicate clearly, whether in writing or in person. Local government experience isn't essential, but they're keen to build their project coordination skills over time. They're comfortable working as part of a small team and taking direction where needed.
